About the Course
The CNG Technology, Operations, Safety and Infrastructure Training Course in Kenya provides participants with practical knowledge of compressed natural gas technologies, systems, applications, and operational requirements. The course examines the complete CNG value chain, from gas processing and compression to storage, transportation, distribution, dispensing, and end-use applications.Key areas include CNG plant operations, compression and decompression systems, high-pressure gas handling, storage and cascade systems, refueling stations, vehicle CNG systems, inspection and maintenance, leak detection, emergency response, and operational risk management.Strong emphasis is placed on health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements, including pressure hazards, gas detection, fire prevention, emergency procedures, personal protective equipment, safe handling practices, and relevant standards and regulatory considerations.Through technical case studies, practical exercises, equipment demonstrations, and operational scenarios, participants will develop a better understanding of how to operate, maintain, manage, and safely support CNG facilities and infrastructure.
